Did you know that an estimated 1.2 million people in the U.S. are living with HIV, and about 13% of them don’t even know it?
On Saturday, November 16th, the Positive Assistance team proudly participated in “A Walk for Change,” an incredible event supporting local agencies dedicated to HIV prevention and treatment. Held at Lott 38 on West Washington Street in Orlando, this inspiring gathering united community members, organizations, and advocates to take meaningful steps toward a healthier future.
Our team walked alongside the community, shared resources, and collaborated with other local agencies to spread awareness about the importance of HIV prevention and treatment. Events like these not only raise awareness but also remind us of the power of community action in tackling important public health challenges.
Thank you to everyone who participated and showed their support. Together, we are working to reduce stigma, promote prevention, and provide hope for those living with or at risk of HIV.
Together, we can make a difference. Let’s walk for change, walk for hope, and walk for a brighter tomorrow.
